Howard F. Endsley, age 88, of Friendsville, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Maryville Healthcare. Mr. Endsley was a member of Unitia Free Saints Holiness Church and was the former Commissioner of the city of Friendsville as well as a member of the Alcoa Aluminum Co. 25 year club. He was an avid Hunter, Harley-Davidson Motorcyclist, Fisherman, and Vegetable Gardener who loved sharing his vegetables with friends and neighbors. He is preceded in death by his son, Howard Eugene Endsley; daughter, Brenda Gail Endsley; granddaughter, Amy Bookout; and brother, Jerry Ray Endsley; He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Louis Frances Drake Endsley; son, Mark Allen Endsley of Friendsville; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Katherine “Kate” Endsley Newberry of Maryville, Bonnie Rhea Endsley of Friendsville, and Mona Endsley Jeffries and husband, Mike of Friendsville; grandchildren, Casey Cutshaw, Chastity Qualkenbush, Shaun Newberry, Jonathan Newberry, and Coy Best; several great grandchildren; brothers, Jewel Endsley and Robert Endsley; sister, Betty Petty.
