Myrtle Rowland Settlemire, age 74, went to be with her Lord, July 24, 2010. She was preceded in death by mother, Mabern L. Rowland, father, Jesse M. Rowland, sisters Juanita Robinson, Kathleen Houser, brothers, James K. Rowland, Rev. A.J. Rowland. Survivors include husband, John H. Settlemire, sons, David & Kay Settlemire, Douglas & Rebecca Settlemire, Dwane & Jeannie Settlemire, grandchildren, Autumn Settlemire & fiancé, Nate Suranofsky, Dustyn Settlemire, Megan & Justin Denny, Jonathan Settlemire, Dylan Settlemire & Jessica Settlemire, brothers, Robert M. & Mary Rowland, Donald & Susan Rowland, & sister, Betty & Frank Pierce. Pallbearers will be: Jonathan Settlemire, Dylan Settlemire, Justin Denny, Nate Suranofsky, Jeff Ridenour, Collin Ridenour, Aaron Steich, with Joseph Ridenour and Dustyn Settlemire as Honorary Pallbearers. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 29th, in the Smith Trinity Chapel, with Rev. Phillip Marshal, Rev. Mike Brantley, and Rev. Mike Parker officiating. Family & Friends will assemble 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 30th, at Louisville Memorial Cemetery for the interment. The family will receive friends, Thursday, July 29th from 5 to 7 p.m., Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville, 865-983-1000, www.smithmortuary.com.

We are so very sorry for your loss and you have been in our prayers & hearts constantly,since her untimely passing. We greive with you. She was a most gracious lady and we loved her dearly and she will never be forgotten. God's Blessings to all of her wonderful family members whom we've known for a lifetime. I am so very sorry. I did not have the privilege of knowing Myrt very long, but I found her to be a Godly woman with a wonderful personality. I am so glad I met her.
