Obid Eugene Welchance age 77 of Seymour, TN, passed away Monday, July 19, 2010 at the family home. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and National Guard. He enjoyed traveling and living life to the fullest. He attended New Vision Church of God. He loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by: Mother, Nellie Morgan; Father, Andrew Welchance; Sister, Edith Harper. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law, John & Tonya Bryant; Daughters, Anita Sandy and Becky Gray; Daughters & Sons-in-law, Sherrie & Paul Rhyne and Carrie & Dewayne Smith; Grandchildren, Michael, Mikey, Gregory, Nicole, Chad & Brandon; several great-Grandchildren; Special friends, Sylvia & Sherrie. Special thanks to Lonnie Garner for the uplifting prayers. The family would like to thank Blount Memorial Hospice for all the caring and kindness shown to Obid.
