Visitation: The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Smith’s Trinity Chapel.

Sam O’Connor Jr. age 88 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2010 at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was a loving Dad and Granddad who was a veteran of World War II and a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen O’Connor and son, Samuel A. O’Connor III. Survivors include sons, Steve O’Connor and Gary O’Connor; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Dana O’Connor; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Robert Baldwin; grandchildren, Jennifer and Aubrey Baldwin of Portland, Oregon, Brian O’Connor, of Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, and Josh and Travis O’Connor of Maryville; brother and sister-in-law, John and Mary O’Connor; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and Harrison Kirk and Dora Ann and Jim Bolander; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Smith’s Trinity Chapel.
